We pride ourselves on providing a quality service, and for that reason we only use a higher quality of paint. Our preferred paint vendors are Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore, however we are not limited to just their color swatches! If you have a different color in mind, we can bring that swatch to either Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams to have them match it. If you would prefer to use a different brand of paint just let us know and we will gladly work with you to accommodate your desired paint.
We like to be very honest when it comes to our practices at Jondec Painting, which is why you will never be charged to have one of our expertly trained Estimators look at your project with you and give you a fair, honest, and detailed proposal.
Again, there is never a cost to have a painting estimate completed with Jondec!
At Jondec, we will always communicate our plan for your project directly with you. There are some projects that will, by nature, take some time to complete; this includes wall repairs, cabinet painting or staining, door varnishing, and different faux finishes. If this is the case, there could be a few hours, to a day where we would not be able to continue working on that project. If you have other projects that need to be completed, we may be able to address them during that time.
However, because each project is unique, we provide you with a dedicated Project Manager who will be in communication with you and available to talk to, throughout the entire painting process.
Once you have scheduled a virtual or on-site estimate with Jondec Painting, you will receive a follow up communication from your Estimator confirming your scheduled meeting date and time.
We understand that sometimes things come up. If you have the need to reschedule your appointment, we ask that you call our office to notify the estimator at least 1 hour prior to your estimate so they can adjust their schedule accordingly.
Jondec Painting is a fully insured contractor. We carry both liability insurance as well as Workers Compensation insurance to ensure you, the home or business owner, are not at risk if an unforeseen event were to occur.
Your Estimator will provide you with a copy of our Certificate of Insurance during your estimate for you to keep.
At Jondec Painting we are growing! This means we are always looking for new and talented employees to join our team. Because we are in a pattern of growth our total employee count can fluctuate between 45-55 employees annually.
However, although we are a larger company, we also have the ability to provide each customer with the dedication and customer service of a boutique business. Each customer is given direct access to their own dedicated Project Manager who is in communication through the entire project. Should the need arise, customers are also able to call the Jondec Painting offices directly to speak with our Administrative team as well.
We have several crews ready to tackle your project. In fact, we even have two specialized crews dedicated to cabinet projects and an additional crew that is dedicated to handling projects that above your standard heights! Each of our crews is of a certain size to best accommodate small, medium, large, and industrial sized projects. More people working on a project doesn’t always mean a faster completion time. If there is one thing you can be assured of, it is that Jondec will assign the appropriate number of crew members to your project to make it as efficient as possible but we will never overload your space with more people than is necessary.
No matter the size or type of your project, we have the right crew to fit your needs!
Yes! With two specially trained and expertly skilled cabinet crews, painting cabinets is one of our specialties!

Unfortunately, we do not refinish floors. However, we work with many skilled trades and would be glad to provide our customers with a list of preferred contractors who we work with and would recommend.
If you’re having a difficult time deciding on a color scheme for your home or office, or you just don’t know where to start, don’t worry! At Jondec Painting we work with a few select Interior Designers who are available to help guide you through choosing the best colors for you and your home.
We understand that it can be difficult to make a decision based off an idea in your head. You need to see how your idea translates to your walls or cabinets to arrive at an informed conclusion. In order to help you visualize your project, we offer samples for each of our cabinet and faux finish projects. If you would like to have a sample created for your project, please contact your estimator.
Jondec Painting has been in business since 1987. Started by John Van Groningen, Jondec Painting was, and still is, a family owned and operated business, local to the Tinley & Orland Park areas. We also service many other neighboring communities such as Palos Park, Palos Heights, Palos Hills, Oak Park, Alsip, Midlothian, Oak Forest, Mokena, Frankfort, New Lenox, Homer Glen, Lockport, Lemont, Homewood, Flossmoor, Monee, Manhattan, Bolingbrook, Downer Grove, Lisle, Hinsdale, Willowbrook, Darien, Burr Ridge, Woodridge, Naperville, Lombard, and NW Indiana.
If you have a specific question about our service area, please call our office.
We offer multiple ways to pay for your project: cash, personal check, and most major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard.
At this time, we do not offer financing or accept American Express credit cards.
We do not require full payment, up front, in order to begin your project, unlike many other contractors. Once you have decided to move forward with your painting project with Jondec all we require to hold your spot in our schedule is a 30% deposit.
At the completion of your project the remainder of your balance is due.
At Jondec Painting each one of our painters is a full-time Jondec employee. This allows more oversight on your project and more consistency in our process.
At Jondec Painting we are able to negotiate special rates with paint manufacturers because of the size and quantity of paint that we order. When that happens, we pass the savings directly to our customers. This allows us to offer our customers a reduced rate for paint than you would normally get at a paint store. Doing this saves you money on your project no matter when you choose to paint.
However, at certain times during the year we will offer special pricing on our services. These discounts are rare and only last a brief time. Usually the promotional pricing occurs in the late fall and winter. Please check our Promotions page to see if there are any current discounts or offers available at this time, or ask your estimator for details.
Everyone at Jondec Painting serves a unique role and has a specific purpose.
Our Jondec Painting Estimators are specially trained in their discipline. They are expertly adept at knowing how to understand the scope of your project as well as what kind of time and materials will be necessary to complete your project in the least amount of time possible, and with the fewest overages in materials.
Our Painters have been trained in the Jondec process to offer an expert service and complete projects on time and within budget.
Because every project, like every person, is unique we like to give dedicated attention to each one, so no detail is overlooked. Many times, contractors will offer a price based on square footage of a room without looking at it and overlook important details such as repairs that need to be made. These technicalities can be costly causing the contractor to come back to the homeowner with additional unexpected charges. Conversely, contractors can end up quoting a price that is unnecessarily high to cover any unexpected issues that could arise throughout a project. When these problems don’t occur and the project takes less time and materials than initially anticipated, the contractor has charged more than was necessary.
We aim to give each of our customers a finely tuned painting experience, which means giving proper attention to detail, so our customers aren’t surprised with additional costs later, or overpay for services they didn’t actually need.
